Year 6

The National Curriculum expectations state that all pupils should be taught and learn multiplication and division facts for multiplication tables. By the end of year 4, pupils should be able to recall and use multiplication and division facts for multiplication tables up to 12 x 12. By the end of year 6, pupils should be able to use these facts to solve problems. As of June 2020, all year 4 pupils will be required to complete an online multiplication check which will be timed.
